deep sea love

You’re an underwater match maker helping marine singles find love! Will you give them a practical partner, or a wild leap of faith? Up to you!

role: game developer

This was my first mobile game, where I made comedic and semi-educational matchmaking game. I wanted to create a bit of a dating sim, while hopefully educating players on the mating habits of ocean creatures.

the transmutation of greta samsa

Greta wakes up from a nap one day and she’s a slug. And no one seems to care?

role: game developer

This was my first attempt at a VR game, and it was made in four short weeks. I wanted to create a game that used the strengths of the VR format. By using a mirror, the player is really put in the place of the main character who has turned into a slug.

the compound

You’re here to figure out one thing and one thing only: what happened to all the researchers at the compound?

role: narrative designer, screenwriting, 3D modeling

I made this game with the seven other people in my MA program. I loved taking charge of the job of Narrative Designer, writing the script and making level design choices to create emergent storytelling. I also designed and 3D modeled the interior and plants in the greenhouse, which was so fun given my love of horticulture.

the jump - deer on mars

There’s deer on a train and they’re on mars! Will you survive the jump?

role: game developer

This is the first game I ever made by myself. I realized instantly I was drawn to making games that required deductive reasoning and that had rich storytelling. I ended up making this game that relies on the player paying attention to the dialogue and their surroundings to “win”. I have learned so much since creating this game, so it’s really cool to look back on where I started.
